Adult group classes
The cost is £70 per person for the an individual programme, or £6.50 per session. There is a discounted rate if you do both programmes at the same time.
Our First Steps course is designed for the novice Ballroom Dancer. Doors open at approximately 7pm, and we teach at 7:15pm
Our Stepping Out course is designed for dancers who have some experience at beginner level. There is warm dancing from approximately 8:15pm, and we teach at 8:30pm
Both programmes are designed as a 12-week course rather than a series of drop-in classes. It is strongly recommended that you complete the whole programme.
The programmes cover basic rhythms and routines for the popular Ballroom and Latin American dances, Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Jive, Cha Cha Chá, and Rumba.

What some of our learners have said
I’ve been learning Ballroom and Latin with Mark for many years now.
He’s a very thorough teacher but with a relaxed style and a real care that you have fun as well as learn.
He’s excellent at putting people at their ease, judging their level and style and pitching classes right.
Thank you so much for Friday night. We had a brilliant time – I saw one if the girls mums today and all three of her girls commented on how great it was and they tried to teach her 🙂👍 hope you had a great evening of dancing. Many thanks again.
Mark choreographed and taught me and my husband our first dance. My husband was relatively new to dancing, but with Mark’s guidance we managed to not only surprise everyone, and give a near perfect performance, but also to enjoy both the classes and the performance!!
We definitely recommend Mark!
Have a question? See if we have answered it here.
I've never danced before, can I learn?
That’s what we’re here for, to help people learn to dance…two left feet are no problem as you only need one foot at a time.
Do I need to have a partner to come to your classes?
It’s easier if you have a partner but, we can sometimes pair up solo dancers…or the teachers will dance with you.
My child would like to learn, do you only teach adults?
Unfortunately, we are not running classes for the younger dancer at the moment.
What clothing should I wear?
Comfortable clothes are the order of the day. We want you to be comfortable, that way dancing is more fun.
Do I need special shoes?
Shoes are important: they should be comfortable, support your ankle, and the soles shouldn’t grip the floor too much. Leather soles, or hard resin plastic are normally quite good. Of course, if you want to get serious, you can buy ‘proper’ dance shoes, and we’re happy to advise on these.
Can I have private one-to-one lessons?
Yes, we have some daytime and weekend times available to lessons catering for up to 4 people. These are ideal for preparing a Wedding First Dance, preparing for exams, or just getting a head-start.
For fun, fitness and wellbeing..
